Welcome to Country Bow, I’m Jedain a 35-year-old discovering this ancient art in the heart of Ohio.
I started archery just a year ago with a shabby 45-pound recurve I got from Amazon. My first bow was nothing fancy, but it represented the beginning of something special.
Inspired by hours of watching competitive archers and technique videos, I took to the range to test my own skills. And now, I’m obsessed.
Every practice session brings new discoveries and stories, from mastering proper back tension to finding the perfect anchor point. While I’m still early in my journey, each arrow released teaches me something new about both the sport and myself.
Here I am today. I’m fully immersed in the sport, and the landscape keeps expanding. The local archery club has become my second home, and though I’m one of the newer faces at the range, I’m embracing every moment of being a beginner with a passion to learn.
