Who writes Country Bow, where the facts come from, and the promises behind every post.

// The rules I write by

Honest, hands-on and on your side.

I’m Jedain, a real archer, not a content farm. Every post gives you what works, what to skip and how I know, written for the person who just picked up a bow.

  1. I say how I know

Gear I own is reviewed from my own shooting. Everything else is researched from maker specs, official sources and owner reports, and the post says so at the top.

  2. I say what I don’t know

If I haven’t shot it, the post says so. When a question needs a coach, a bow shop or the rulebook, I point you there.

  3. Money never picks the winner

Affiliate links are labeled. They never change what I recommend or how a product ranks.

How I test gear

I buy what I review with my own money, and a review gets a score only after at least 30 days of real shooting. Gear I haven’t shot is covered from research (maker specs, manuals and owner reports), says so at the top, and carries no score.

Who I learn from

People at my local range, and official sources like state wildlife agencies and USA Archery. When advice came from someone else, I say so.

How I write

The stories, opinions and mistakes are all mine. Facts are checked against the sources listed at the bottom of each post.

How I write and test

The questions people ask most about how posts and reviews come together.

Do you get paid to review products?

No. No sponsors, no paid placements. Some links are affiliate links, which never change what I say.

How long do you test gear?

As long as it takes to have a real opinion, usually several weeks of regular range sessions.

Do you use AI to write posts?

The stories, opinions and mistakes are all mine, and every fact is checked against the sources listed in the post.

How do you fix mistakes?

I fix errors fast. If a mistake changes the advice, I add a note at the top of the post.

Who checks your facts?

I check rules and specs against official sources and link them in each post.

Can I suggest gear to test?

Yes. Send it through the contact page. I can’t test everything, but I read every suggestion.
